* The Venerable Khetsun Sangpo Rinpoche *
The Venerable Khetsun Sangpo Rinpoche is one of the last living masters born in Tibet and trained in all four Buddhist lineages. He holds an extraordinary knowledge of the history of Tibet and his understanding of ancient Tibetan manuscripts and teachings is renowned amongst Tibetan scholars and teachers. He is a eminent Dzogchen master who studied with many well-known and respected lamas: His Holiness the Dalai Lama, HH Dudjom Rinpoche, HH Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Dzogchen Lama Thubten Rinpoche, Kangyur Rinpoche, Kharag Yongzin Rinpoche, Khyentse Choskyi Lodoe Rinpoche, Shuksep Lochen Rinpoche, Ngawang Norbu Rinpoche, Geyshe Sogyal Rinpoche and many others.
Khetsun Sangpo Rinpoche studied and practiced the metaphysics of Tibetan Buddhism, all the Dzogchen teachings and empowerments, the Seven Treasures, Yangtig Nagkpo Sergye Druchig (* The Dark Retreat *) Nyingtic Yeshe Lama, Yonten Zod and Ringchen Terzod. Rinpoche holds many other secret teachings as well.

Khetsun Sangpo Rinpoche has dedicated the past 40 years of his life to preserving, promoting and teaching Dzogchen and Buddhist traditions. At age 89, he continues to serve as a constant guide, teacher, and master to his all students. He continues to give transmissions, initiations and commentaries to monks and lay students at NWC and when possible to students around the world. Rinpoche lives at Nyingmapa Wishfulfilling Center where he oversees, trains and instructs his successor, Tulku Jigme Rinpoche (* Tulku Jigme Rinpoche - Successor *).
